“Your superconscious mind knows your true destiny and shows it to you. To access it, recognize the flashes of inspiration you get from time to time. Follow your hunches. Get into the habit and let your instincts guide your destiny.” – Lynn Champion
Happiness to me is always being inspired to feel. It’s when my every experience allows me to feel and express from the heart.
Inspiration to me is an internal experience. It’s a feeling of being alive and captivated by the energy of the present moment. It’s when I feel so enthralled in what I’m doing that every nerve in my body feels heightened.
Inspiration is feeling in touch with my inner voice, following my own energy, proactively pursuing that which feels right to me, and constantly challenging myself and reflecting upon my choices.
I feel inspired when I take risks, pursue adventure, explore creative arts and help people feel. I feel certain in my choices when I expect mistakes and learnings to occur, and when self-growth is an ongoing process. I feel alive when my surroundings energize me and when I’m emotive in my responses.
Inspiration is everywhere. When you take pleasure in your surroundings, you will be inspired to feel.
How often do you feel inspired?

I feel inspired everyday. If you live in NYC I think it is just part of your fabric… If you can’t find inspiration from daily life here- positive and negative experiences alike- you probably don’t belong. Music, art, people, and the pulse of this place provide ample inspiration… And them some
I couldn’t agree more! I was in nyc for the first time this past weekend – amazing and inspiring indeed!
Thanks for the comment.
wow. I love this post, and the people who have already commented are….amazing.
I think inspiration is about looking at things deeper and from a different angle. Too often we skim over things in our lives because we don’t have the time or energy to spend. That’s why I love NYC, because you can always see something new.
It’s all about the energy
amber – i’m inspired by you!
carla – totally agree! i think we often skim over what’s in front of us because either we don’t have the energy or we’re not being aware in the moment. i agree – energy is key.
ag – thank you.
Unless it’s a do-or-die situation, I’ve preferred not to let my “instinct guide my destiny” without proper analysis of the said instinct. Instinct once lead me to be inspired by a smile with blue eyes, but it resulted in a punk yearning to be a Mister Spock.
I find inspiration from creating stuff and seeing the beauty in things. Drawing or learning to cook gives me a certain excitement. Seeing a crowded cityscape crawling to the horizon with tiny cars rushing through its vein of streets against the backdrop of a calm sky inspire me to make something that looks as beautiful as this scenery. Dashing pass a Fullerton street sign to attend Sunday mass and seeing yuppies listen to stories about helping the poor inspires me to do good. Writing mumbo-jumbo in a place where I wanted to learn how to get a gazillion twitter followers inspire me to write the word “beautiful”. Melodies from a rock venue across a stadium’s ivy-covered walls inspire me to reminiscence and dream of the future with music as my guide. Stories from books and movies inspire me to be patient with circumstances that bound my ample shadow to a false freedom and prepare for when time finally allows my older self to travel and visit worlds that I’ve forgotten. Yeah, that’s about it.
