About Amber
I’m Amber Rae Lambke. Thanks for stopping by.
Me in 12 words: Passionate, creative, curious, entrepreneurial. Loves risk, fears little, enjoys change, smiles often.
Me in several paragraphs: I’m a 20-something San Francisco lady who’s passionate about creativity, strategy, design, innovation, entrepreneurship, adventure, and all that satisfies my creative urges. I’m enthralled by ideas, cultures, psychology and social interaction. I seek to understand human experiences end emotions to solve business problems.
I use Tumblr to capture daily thoughts and share tidbits that resonate with me so feel free to check that out.
I love meeting new, interesting people so if you’re in San Francisco, please feel free to e-mail me or reach me via Twitter. I’m always game for a glass of wine.
I lead marketing for Leverage Software, a social networking software company aimed at making smart companies smarter, better, happier and more profitable. (Think Facebook meets Match.com meets Twitter for business.) Feel free to try it free for 15 days by launching your own in less than 90 seconds. (I’m not kidding when I say it’s changed my “working life.”)
I’m fascinated by how the internet has transformed how we talk, eat, date and live. This became more obvious to me when I led digital word-of-mouth programs for consumer brands like Dove, Frito-Lay, Kimberly-Clark and Beam-Global, and prior to that, doing Campus Marketing for Apple. Working to better connect some of the world’s greatest brands with consumers via meaningful experiences helped me understand customer engagement and relationship building at its finest.
Now, I see tremendous opportunity in helping businesses understand how the internet and social tools can transform how their business operates – from sales to recruitment to employee satisfaction to the evolution of products and services. I believe employee experiences directly impact customer experiences; yet, too often companies forget about their own internal communication and problem solving capabilities. (Enter: my mission at Leverage…)
I started “playing” with computers at five. I really began exploring social tools when I launched an e-magazine “Teen Zine” at age 12, garnering over 5,000 subscribers, an editorial staff of 12 and two corporate sponsors. I got more serious with entrepreneurship in college when I co-founded a t-shirt company, leading sales / marketing strategy and product development.
I love food (guacamole, greek yogurt, almond butter, filet, all-natural eats), drink (espresso, wine, vodka, bourbon – yes, please!). I have a slight obsession with my iPhone and MacBook but an equally important love for my Pilot G-2 .07 pen and moleskin notebook (regular paper works too). Candid photography makes me smile and I love capturing emotion in photos. Above all, I’m inspired by deep conversations, art, creativity, adventure, ideas and writing.
I aspire to: live simply, healthily, and happily; travel the world; always feel creatively inspired; touch the lives of others in a meaningful way; die knowing i left a positive impact on our world.
